Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut says despite being the “highest paid” actress in Bollywood, she is unable to pay her taxes on time as she had “no work”. She said in his Instagram post on Tuesday night that he is yet to pay half of the total tax due to the government.
Ranaut said that even though I come under the highest tax slab and pay about 45 percent of my income as tax, even though I am the highest tax paying actress, I haven’t paid half of my last year’s tax. For the first time in my life, I am getting late in paying taxes.

The actress, who recently recovered from coronavirus infection, said that the government is charging interest on the outstanding amount, and she welcomes the move. Times can be tough for us individually but together we can get stronger with time.
