Scream Queens – Picture: 20th Television, since the time Ryan Murphy signed the big deal with Netflix in 2018, there have been some rumours about the shows that are possibly going to make the jump and will get a revival. Among the revival shows, Scream Queens is the one series that is there on top. Is Netflix going to give this show another chance, what do you think? The answer looks that it is highly unlikely yes and is thrown over the prospect of a revival.
Debuting the first time in 2015, the black comedy series was headed up by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan. (all three of them worked with Netflix under overall deals). According to the updates, Scream Queen started with starring Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande, Billie Lourd, and Abigail Breslin.
After airing 23 episodes on Fox, the network decided not to continue the show for a third season, and back in the year 2016, the series has been dormant albeit with glimmers of hope. Here are the current updates about the series Scream Queens.

Will Scream Queens revive? What are the updates about Netflix on this black comedy series?
From the updates, we came to know that the first hope of revival came back in February 2019 through an Instagram post where Murphy pondered and questioned the fans in what format should the show make a return. After all this, things went quiet for a year.
All the revival hopes came back in the year 2020 when on Instagram Ryan Murphy answered to a fan comment that we are working on Season 3. However, this is the comment that got deleted.
But since then, the trail has gone cold and revival hopes are there on the top. The series got mentioned recently but this is not good news. When it was asked in the year 2021, it has been said that Dr. Cathy Munsch is not expecting a third season but it was added that she has been working with Murphy again on some new project.

Why is it hard for the streaming platform to revive Scream Queens?
Reviving a show is not that easy, the fans might think that it is easy but it isn’t. Manifest proved over the summer of 2021, the Netflix strategy of a show is only going to work when there is a large precedent of bringing a show back and all the rights are there with Netflix only. Therefore, this is only how a show can be revived on the internet.
So, there you have, the answer looks no. Scream Queens might not get revived again but this is not 100% confirmed. There are no proper updates on this yet.
