So what really happens when you make a film with a budget of Rs. 550 crore? Anxiety increases for all the stakeholders who are involved in the film as they want to recover at least the money that has been invested. But what happens when you create an earth-shattering record of Rs. 250 crores on the first day of the release of the film? Well, the makers, fans, and even people who have not heard or watched the film go crazy. Yes, something similar has happened to me who is a huge fan of Rajamouli movies. I am really enjoying the success of his latest flick RRR which has made Rs. 250 crores in its worldwide box office collection on the first day itself.
Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ smashes records to emerge as India’s biggest blockbuster!
Released on 25th March 2022, the film RRR has managed to impress everyone, including the critics. The film has commendable performances from the cast that includes Ram Charan, NTR Rao Jr., Alia Bhatt, and even Ajay Devgn in an extended cameo appearance. The film is already trending on all social media platforms and even the website Wikipedia has got the story narrated in its Plot section considering the fact that people would still go ahead and watch the film even if they know the story because of its visual spectacles and the story narrating journey that no other film matches to offer.
So, there are no guesses for knowing that the film is set in 1920 India and narrates the inspiring journey of two freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao). Although it is a work of fiction, the film manages to make it give a real look by ensuring that the photography and visual effects are at par with international standards. The epic period action drama movie introduces Ajay Devgn as Rama Raju’s father and Alia Bhatt as Sita who is Rama Raju’s lover.
The film starts with Komaram Bheem who visits Delhi with his people to rescue a Gond tribal girl. On the other side, Alluri Sita Rama Raju works as a police officer in the British Empire. In a turn of events, Ram and Bheem meet and save a boy. While both don’t reveal their identity in their meeting, they eventually become best friends. The main part of the story is when Bheem and Ram get to know each other well and reunite to fight for the country’s welfare.
Rajamouli manages to keep the audience hooked with a masala, action drama, family entertainer, and a good watch to help you get rid of your weekend blues. Do not read the reviews and even the plotline if you want to be entirely thrilled by the film. Go for the movie alone if you don’t find a partner for the film because you shouldn’t miss watching this first Indian film to have broken all the box office records. And remember Rajamouli took almost 5 years to come up with this movie after his successful series of Baahubali The Beginning and Baahubali The Conclusion.
