Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is a television serial aired at 8 PM slot on Star Plus. The serial delves into the lives of three youngsters Sai, Virat, and Patralekha who get entangled in a love story due to the adverse situations that they face in life. Virat and Patralekha meet each other and develop feelings. When they were about to confess their love for each other, duty calls Virat to join as a police officer in a disputed location.

Patralekha reaches back home and finds a marriage proposal from Samrat. As she is unable to reach Virat to get a response for her relationship, she decides to get married to Samrat. When Virat gets to know that Samrat, his brother’s marriage is happening to Patralekha, he requests her to get married as he doesn’t want to come in the way of his brother’s happiness.

Samrat and Patralekha get married. On the other hand, when Sai’s father gets shot, he asks for a promise from Virat to take care of Sai and her further studies. Sai and Virat get married due to situations. Initially, they both dislike each other’s presence in their lives. However, despite various obstacles in their lives, they care for each other making them understand the true meaning of their marriage.
However, Virat fails to express his true love for Sai, which irks her and she leaves him thinking that Virat still loves Patralekha and has to live with Sai as she is a burden on him. All the misunderstandings between Sai and Virat are fuelled more by Patralekha’s jealousy and Virat’s orthodox family who doesn’t like strong-minded independent and educated daughter-in-law like Sai. The recent episode showed how Sai battles for her life as she saves a kid from getting injured. Will Virat at least now realize the importance of Sai in his life and eliminate his male ego to get back Sai?
