The makers are ensuring to keep the fans hooked by teasing them with the inside pictures from this season’s Bigg Boss house. So, there is no doubt that this season will be hosted by the one and only Salman Khan. The show will be aired on Colors TV at 10 pm from Monday to Friday and at 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday. So, the fans of Salman who only watch the weekend episodes will be really delighted to note that today Salman will be making his appearance at 9 pm on your TV screens.
Interestingly, JioCinema will also take charge of livestreaming Bigg Boss 17 just like it streamed Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 earlier this year.
Salman has been hosting several seasons of the reality show since 2010. And this time he shocked his fans when he hosted Bigg Boss OTT 2 as well. I mean a star of his stature also agreed to give his presence on the OTT version of the controversial show. Master he is, indeed!
It was in September 2023 that Colors TV and JioCinema jointly released a promo series that featured the host and actor Salman Khan making interesting statements about the surprises involved in the show.
If you had seen the promo, we are sure you wouldn’t have liked his bald look wherein he was meddling with a bomb. In the promo video, Salman was noticed saying, “Arey ye bhi koi bomb hai? Isse bhi explosive sadasya aayenge (Is this even a bomb? Contestants, who are more explosive than this bomb will be seen on the show this time)”.
He also went ahead and cut the wrong wire which led to the explosion of the bomb. He said, “Aag se khilayenge, dhamaka karayenge, dil dimaag aur dum ka hoga ye game but ye game nahi hoga sabke liye same to same (We will make them play with fire and make them explode. But this game is not going to be the same for all, it will be a game of heart, mind and guts).”
Many reports were circulated on the internet that gave names of the likely contestants who will be seen in Bigg Boss 17. For example, actress Ankita Lokhande hit the headlines when it was reported that she would be participating in the show along with her husband Vicky Jain. Also, standup comedian Munawar Faruqui is expected to take part in the show.
There are also many rumors about what will be the new rules in the Bigg Boss house. For example, it is said that the participants may get access to their mobile phones in the reality show, for the first time in the history of Bigg Boss. It has also left social media users confused and curious about how the participants will utilize the access of the phone inside the house.
