After his spectacular arrest in the Mumbai drugs-on-cruise case, Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, was denied bail today. A Mumbai court ordered the 23-year-old to be held in the anti-drugs agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) custody till Thursday.

Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan, Aryan Khan’s parents, did not appear at the bail hearing. On Sunday, all eight were arrested after the anti-drugs agency raided a rave party on the “Cordelia” cruise sailing from Mumbai to Goa on Saturday evening.
The agency informed the court that it required Aryan Khan’s detention until October 11 to question him. The Narcotics Control Bureau alleged that the case involved an international drug cartel.

“Links in the form of chats etc. show the involvement of international cartel. “It’s a gang,” the agency’s lawyer told the court, adding that “code names” were used “In Aryan Khan’s chats, links to bank and cash transfers that had to be verified were discovered. Aryan Khan has been charged with purchasing, possessing, and using illegal drugs.
