The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) detained Aryan Khan, Merchant, and Dhamecha on October 3 for suspected narcotics conspiracy, possession, use, acquisition, and trafficking. Dhamecha is held at the Byculla women’s jail in Mumbai, while Aryan Khan and Merchant are held at the Arthur Road prison in Mumbai.

Sections 8(c), 20(b), 27, 28, 29, and 35 of the NDPS Act have been utilized to charge Aryan Khan and others in the case. An NCB squad searched the Goa-bound cruise on October 2 evening based on a tip that a rave party was planned and reportedly confiscated narcotics. Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant, and Munmun Dhamecha were among those arrested.

So far, the NCB has detained 20 persons in connection with the cruise party narcotics investigation, including 18 men and two women, all of whom have been arrested in different prison barracks. “The current applicant (Aryan) is not a first-time customer. According to the evidence presented in court, he has been a regular consumer of illegal drugs for the past few years.
