Entertainment Desk – American pop singer Coco Lee suffered from depression in recent years and her condition deteriorated drastically.
On Sunday she was hospitalized after a suicide attempt. Despite the efforts, she passed away on 5 July 2023.
Who Was Coco Lee?
Coco Lee was born on January 17, 1975, in British-ruled Hong Kong. She gained prominence for her strong voice, crescendoing vocal riffs, and soulful ballads.
She has a huge fan base not only in Hon Kong but also in Southeast Asian countries like Singapore and Malaysia. In 2001, she performed the best original song nominated number academy Awards. She is also the first singer of Chinese to grace the Oscars stage.
