What is a Peaceful Society?

peaceful society can be understood as a long-term dream and ambition. It is a goal of the various governments that are working for mutual co-operation among different states and nations. A peaceful society is one that is free from sufferings, pain, fear, sorrow and it can be achieved only when people are spiritually aware and take wise decisions in their lives.

A peaceful society is achieved when spiritually wise individuals become a part of the policy-making section of the government or private sectors and establish fundamental truths and moral principles as the code of conduct. When values are considered important over unethical and corruptive practices is when a peaceful society is formed.

Did you ever wonder what makes a society happy?

In any country, terror and diseases have become dominant in the 21st century. Although people speak about terrorism and pandemic or epidemic when an outbreak happens, the need of the hour is to take steps to convert the society into a peaceful one by providing people with the basic facilities and helping them get jobs to fulfill their additional needs and wants of life.

Inequality and discrimination in age, race, gender, religions, communities make it very difficult to establish peace as there are always arguments, disagreements, violence, pollution in the minds and environment of the people. This leads to further aggression and frustration leading to the breaking of the existing policies and more frauds, scams, cheatings in relationships, etc.

A society achieves peace with a lot of effort from both the people and the government. There has to be a balance between materialism and spiritualism. Without this balance, it will become really difficult to achieve anything good. If factories and malls are being built, that many trees should be planted. If education is becoming prominent in today’s times then jobs should also be made available to the people. There has to be a balancing act in all spheres and anything in extreme is not good.
