Kolkata: West Bengal Board’s 10th and 12th exams will not be held in June, the revised schedule will be announced later. The first 10th exams were to be conducted between June 1 and June 10 and the exams of class 12 were to be conducted between June 15 and July 2, but now the dates of these exams will be announced later.

On the other hand, the government of West Bengal has announced a complete lockdown across the state for two weeks from Sunday on Saturday. This lockdown will remain in force on May 16 from 6 pm to May 30 at 6 am. Also, the government has also announced a night curfew in the state from 9 pm to 5 pm from Sunday. Chief Secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay said that ‘the entire lockdown has been implemented to ensure the health of the people and control the Covid-19 situation.
