Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) has started from today and to the rescue of students appearing for the exam comes Uttarakhand government.
The Uttarakhand government has initiated special buses for students appearing in the exams in all the 13 districts so that they can reach the exam centre in a safe manner.
Surprisingly, Uttarakhand has more than 13,000 aspirants appearing for the JEE in 2020.
These special buses will be used only for the to and fro of students and normal fare will be charged. It will ply from district headquarters to the exam centres.
The officials of the state government are also willing to increase the number of special buses for the students in case if there is any requirement.
The move is to ensure that the state government is in full support of students’ safety and no one has any problem to reach the exam centre in these coronavirus times.
Safety and facilities of the students appearing for the exams at the exam centre is also being taken care of by the officials.
Protective measures such as social distancing and number of students allotted per centre is being done properly.
