Education Desk – The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is likely to release the Civil Services Preliminary Examination (CSE) Result 2025 by the second week of June. Although the exact date is yet to be confirmed, candidates are advised to keep an eye on the official website.
Expected Date for UPSC Prelims Result 2025
The UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 was held on May 25 (Sunday) in two shifts. Based on past trends:
2024: Exam on June 16 → Result on July 1
2023: Exam on May 28 → Result on June 12
Following this pattern, the 2025 Prelims result is expected around June 14.

Once declared, results will be available on the official UPSC website: upsconline.gov.in

Visit the UPSC website
Click on “UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Result” link on the homepage
A PDF file will open containing roll numbers of qualified candidates
Use Ctrl+F to search your roll number
Download and save the PDF for reference
Additionally, PDFs of GS Paper 1 and GS Paper 2 will be available for download on upsc.gov.in
Candidates who clear the Prelims will be eligible for the Main Examination, for which the schedule will be released soon on the official site. Keep checking for updates.
UPSC’s New Online Application System
To simplify the application process, UPSC has launched a revamped portal: upsconline.nic.in
The platform has 4 parts:
- Account Creation
- Universal Registration
- Common Application Form (CAF)
- Examination Section (only active during notification periods)
Note: The older One-Time Registration (OTR) system is discontinued. All aspirants must create new profiles and upload documents.
UPSC recommends using Aadhaar for quick identity verification.
