New Delhi: Rejecting a petition against Jammu and Kashmir MP Farooq Abdullah, the Supreme Court on Wednesday said that expressing a separate opinion from the government cannot be termed as 'treason'. The apex court said, "The expression of those opinions which are different from the governmental opinion cannot be called treason." According to the Supreme Court, the petitioners failed to prove their allegation that Farooq Abdullah had sought the help of China and Pakistan against India to abolish Article 370 granting special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The petitioner was fined Rs 50,000. The petition against the leader of the National Conference is linked to his remarks, which are against the Centre's move to abolish special status to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370.

New Delhi: No need to worry about board exams and JEE Main exam date clash. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an official release giving students the option to choose the day according to their convenience on which day they want to appear in the JEE Main Exam. This decision was taken so that the engineering entrance exam and board exam date do not get clashed on the same day and the students had to suffer loss. According to the news of Indian Express, NTA will open the form once again in May 2021 so that students can choose the day according to their convenience to sit in the JEE Main Exam.

The NTA said in an official release that it was brought to its notice that the CBSE class 12 and 12th board exam dates are being clashed by the education boards of many states. In such a situation, NTA has decided to reopen the main application form of JEE between May 3 and May 12 to prevent a clash between the Jee Main Exam date and the 12th class board exam. Jee Main 2021 will be held on 24,25,26,27 and 28 May. This is the last of this year’s four G Main Attempts. Earlier, the Zee Men 2021 events took place between February 23-26, March 15-18 and April 27-30.
