Tripura’s BJP-IPFT government recently declared that it will give jobs to around 9,000 school teachers who were terminated.
The jobs will be provided in Group C and Group D posts in various departments.
The sacked teachers protested and demand for permanent alternative jobs recently.
As per the government, it has also allowed age relaxation for such terminated school teachers till March 31, 2023.
If the teachers do not pass through the selection process, the posts will be outsourced to others.
For the unaware, 10,323 post graduate, graduate and undergraduate school teachers were removed from their jobs by the High Court of Tripura due to faulty recruitment process that held in 2014.
