Education Desk – The Rajasthan government has announced to set up a new medical university in Jodhpur. Also, they released a provision of Rs 35 crore for the first phase of its work.

For unaware, CM Ashok Gehlot had announced the opening of the Marwar Medical University in a Budget 2023 speech. He also approved Rs 35 crore for the work of the first phase and a total of Rs 499.86 crore will be spent on the establishment.

Additionally, CM Ashok Gehlot also approved the proposal to open a new homeopathic college in Bharatpur and will create 30 new posts for the operation of the college.

The state government has sanctioned Rs 54.33 crore for scooties to 6,250 people with disabilities and these scooties will be retrofitted so that they don’t have to bear additional expenses.
