The Pondicherry University has declared that it will adopt an open-book exam approach for the students who are to appear for the semester end exams of the college.
The university officials have said that the students can check out books, notes and other study materials to write answers for the exam questions.
But no copy and paste answers are allowed. Students need to refer the material and produce answers based on their own understanding.
The idea is to make sure there is fair and equal opportunity for students appearing in online/offline/blended mode.
Students appearing for the exams have been given the required instructions to take precautions from the coronavirus pandemic.
