Above one lakh stakeholders were sensitized in a one month long awareness campaign that was held on POCSO Act and child sexual abuse protection.
The campaign was held in both online and offline methods across all schools in Jammu division.
Directorate of School Education, Jammu, via its counselling cell held a huge ‘Mothers Centric Parent Teacher Meet’ on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and child sexual abuse protection.
Over 1 lakh stakeholders such as students of primary, middle, high and higher secondary levels and their parents, specifically mothers were part of the campaign.
The idea was to put an end to the vulnerability of children to sexual abuse during COVID-19 pandemic.
