Online pre-board examinations are going on

New Delhi: Due to the covid-19 epidemic, the dates of next year’s board exams are not clear, despite this many schools are conducting online pre-board exams so that their students are fully prepared. The Ministry of Education has not yet decided on the dates of board exams of 10th and 12th, however, it has already made it clear that the examinations will be done in the traditional way.

Schools in Delhi are restricting the examinations to the online medium while schools in Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Noida are also conducting mixed exams under the relaxation given by the respective state governments. Priyanka Brar, Principal of MRG School in Rohini, Delhi, said, “CBSE conducted NEET and JEE-2020 exams despite epidemic. This is a strong indication that students of 10th and 12th should also prepare themselves for the offline examination. Keeping in mind the safety and security of students and teachers, we have made arrangements to conduct pre-board examination online. ” He said, “This preparation is not enough for the students. We are exploring the possibility of conducting offline exams as per CBSE guidelines. ” According to Pallavi Upadhyay, Principal of DPS School located at Rajnagar Extension, Ghaziabad, the school has conducted the pre-board examination online but also plans to take offline examination in January.

“In the midst of the epidemic, we have been able to complete the syllabus of the students with board exams and conducted the first pre-board exam online as per the CBSE guidelines,” he said. He said, “To ensure a transparent examination, we held a digital dialogue session with the students and their parents. Our system is designed to be transparent to the inspector and the student. ” Rashmi Biswal, Principal of DAV Public School in Pushpanjali Vihar said, “Most of the board exams are of 80 marks and therefore we want students to practice writing the answers to the entire question paper, so we have divided the question paper of each subject into two Is divided so that the student can write the answers of both the parts in one day or submit them in two different days. ” It is noteworthy that Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ had a direct dialogue with the students on 10 December and answered various questions related to the upcoming board examination. Nishank will communicate with the teachers on 22 December after which the exam dates are expected to be announced.
