New Delhi: From today, the new academic session has started in CBSE schools for the year 2021-22. A new session has been started from April 1 for all students other than those who appear for the board examinations. With this, CBSE has also released a new syllabus for students from 9th to 12th. Students of these classes will have to read 100% syllabus in the new semester. Students can check their new syllabus on the board’s website. According to the new syllabus, there is no reduction in syllabus for the year 2021-22. Students will have to study 100 percent of the syllabus.
This year the syllabus was cut for the students going for board exams. The course was cut in view of the damage done to studies due to the Corona epidemic. This deduction is only for the students appearing in the board examinations this time. There will be no reduction in syllabus in the new academic session and students will have to read the entire syllabus.
CBSE Director Academic Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, while issuing instructions to the heads of schools, said that CBSE has provided some samples of question papers from 9th to 12th. This can be obtained by visiting the CBSE website. Dr. Joseph Emmanuel has asked the school leaders to share the curriculum available on the official website of the school administration.
The board has also denied reports that it is being said that practical examinations of students who are infected with corona will be taken later. CBSE Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj has said that neither such instructions have been issued nor the Board has taken any such decision.
