Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant declared extension of three days for candidates to submit applications for the last year or final semester exams of Mumbai University.
A review meeting was held with regards to discuss about how the exams of Mumbai University will be conducted.
As many students appear for exams in Mumbai University in Maharashtra state, the university has decided to extend the date of application for exams to 20 September 2020.
Over 1.7 lakh students of the state are going to appear for the exams this year.
Also, there will be no inclusion in the result certificates that the exams have been held during coronavirus pandemic.
The exams this year will be held online. However, those students not having online facilities can avail the option to appear for exams physically.
