The Indian Army has issued a notice inviting unmarried male and female law graduates to apply for a Short Service Commission in the Judge Advocate General Branch. According to the official website, the selected officer would be on probation for six months after receiving his or her commission.

“If he or she is deemed unsuitable to keep his or her commission during the probationary period, his or her services may be terminated at any moment, whether before or after the probationary period concludes,” the notification added.
Interested and eligible applicants can apply online at joinindianarmy.nic.in, the Indian Army’s official website.
There are 3 vacancies for women and 6 for men for this position. Interested candidates applying for this job need to have a minimum of 55 percent in their LLB degree (three years of professional experience after graduation or five years after passing the 10+2 test. They should also be able to register with the Bar Council of India/State as an advocate.
The age of the candidates should be between 21 to 27 years old on July 1, 2022. The last date for applying for this recruitment is February 17th (3 PM).
