The education department of Goa has huge plans to reopen schools and start the new academic session from September this year, says a report.
The state education director Santosh Amonkar is hoping that the situation of coronavirus in the country becomes normal by then so that the students can get back to their books and continue learning.
Usually or say in pre-corona era, the yearly academic session starts in the first week of June in Goa.
However, as the fate of students has it, the session has been delayed owing the coronavirus crisis.
The education department feels that they will start the studies of the students after reopening the schools in a planned manner.
The new normal will be set by the school officials by consulting and thinking about the well-being of children, parents and teachers alike.
