Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has announced that all schools in the national capital will remain shut until there is a further notice on the same.
The decision has been taken considering the growing number of coronavirus cases in the state.
Parents are worried and not willing to send their children despite schools trying to reopen slowly.
Also, the places in the country where schools have been reopened, there only coronavirus cases have also increased affecting children population.
Thus, the officials came to the conclusion from the feedback of the parents and the ongoing situation that it is safe for parents and children to keep the schools closed till further orders.
The countrywide closedown of schools and colleges have been done since March 16 in order to contain the spread of the deadly virus.
