If one focuses on improving his spiritual life, one can heal things faster and evolve as a better person. Spirituality is not a medicine to cure any disease but in fact, a way of life that helps to heal the problems and challenges that one faces in his life.
When you feel at peace at the way your life is functioning or moving forward, that is when you have achieved your spiritual health. If you are positive and are able to find hope even in adverse situations, it means you are spiritually aware and have a good hold on leading your life.
Spirituality cannot be standardized. For example, a person may connect with God or the Supreme Consciousness by praying or visiting temples. While others may follow spirituality by doing good work of helping the needy or poor. While others may think spirituality is all about finding happiness even in small things in life.
Spirituality is all about finding answers to your questions that keep bothering you every now and then about inner peace. A person may find peace in as simple as watering plants whereas, a person may find peace if he visits the largest temples in India and follows traditions and customs of his religion or community with whole 100 percent.
Balanced spiritual health can give you the needed energy to focus on what you are doing, help you move away from the past and plan for the future in a better manner, control your senses to not get bogged down by negativity, and have a better optimistic attitude in life to overcome all the challenges and embrace the happiness in life.
