Companies want that employees should work with full effectiveness and work productivity. But in order to ensure that employees are updated with their skillset and knowledge, it is compulsory for the companies also to invest their time and resources in order to train the right employee for the right job. Nowadays, we live in a dynamic world and in order to stay updated with the current trends, one has to be willing to change one mindset and ready to learn and grasp new knowledge and skills.

There is always scope for improvement and in order to achieve work expertise and stay in pace with the ongoing demand of attaining skills in the workers and training them, one should be prepared. Both the company and employees cannot give an excuse of not upgrading themselves to the market trends and changing work environments.

The methods of training include on-the-job training and off-the-job training. On-the-job training methods include job rotation, job instructions, coaching, and committee assignments. Off-the-job training methods include the Vestibule training method, case study method, incident method, and conferences.

Job rotation is where an employee gets a chance to work on various posts with different duties without any change in the salary structure.
Job instructions are when a team leader or a trainer guides the employee in each step towards successful completion of a task and hence, teaches employees to complete the new tasks properly with the help of his training or guidance. Coaching is a kind of theoretical and practical progress of an employee in the company. Committee assignments are a real-life case scenario given to an employee in a meeting so that he or she tries to apply their knowledge and skills to solve the problems.

The vestibule Training method is important for manual workers who work in factories or work so that they are aware of the pros and cons of using the tools and machinery at the organization. The case study method is when an employee is given a chance to read the case history of the organization and come up with effective solutions for the progress of the company through their critical and creative thinking skills.
