The government of Amarinder Singh in Punjab has allowed students of classes 9 to 12 to visit the schools outside containment zones on a voluntary basis.
The idea is to help students of these classes to get the required guidance from their teachers on subject-related matters.
As per the Centre’s Unlock 4 guidelines, the partial reopening of schools and colleges have been done.
However, students have to produce a written consent of their parents before entering the school or college premises.
The state government has released detailed guidelines on how to conduct the classes and what measures need to be followed by the school and college officials to ensure the safety of students and teachers alike.
