New Delhi. The grand completion of the Chaturveda Swahakaar Mahayagya organized in Delhi to bring the pure knowledge of the four Vedas to the whole world took place on Monday. This Mahayagya, which ran from 9 October to 14 October, was organized by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Ashok Singhal Foundation and Jhandewala Devi Temple. In this, about 50 Vedpathi Pandits read more than 29 thousand mantras of the four Vedas with pure pronunciation. The program was attended by devotees who believe in Vedas and believe in Sanatan Dharma from many countries and all the provinces of the country. Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Swami Ramanujacharya Jear Chinn Swami ji along with his 61 Vedapathis completed the entire process in a six-day event related to Veda in detail. He concluded the Vedic ritual of the Vedic Lord Yagna by giving a complete sacrifice in the Yajna while chanting the Veda Mantra Kanthastha Vedpathi, the chanting by the scholars in different Yajna Kundas.
Member of the management committee of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Dinesh Chandra said that this yagna is for the welfare of the world. There have been many misconceptions about the Vedas such as women cannot read Vedas, cannot hear any particular class, while this is not true. He said that there is a clear mention in the second chapter of the 26th Mandal of the Yajurveda that any Brahman, Kshatriya, Vaishya, Shudra, Nari, servant of the Vedas can listen, study and recite and make anyone listen to it. For the first time such a Mahayagya is being done in Delhi to clear the confusion etc. about the Vedas. It is also historical from the point of view of social harmony, in which various social leaders, religious leaders, Raj leaders, from slums to palaces have been called, all of them have been involved. Dinesh ji said that Swami Vivekananda considered the Vedas to be a mirror of society and said that if today ‘our culture survives then only our future and future progeny will survive’.
