An important proposal is being considered for the evaluation of CBSE’s 12th class board examinations, which were canceled this year due to the Corona epidemic. According to the news of the Indian Express, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the evaluation of the students of class 12th, the marks obtained in the board examination before class 12 i.e. class tenth examination, class 11th examination and pre-board examination in class 12.

According to education ministry sources, the 12-member expert committee constituted by CBSE considered this option on Saturday, June 12. According to sources, there was a consensus among experts regarding marking in this manner, but there was no consensus about how much weightage should be given to all the marks. According to the information received, 70 marks of theory will be given from these three components.

Due to the second wave of Corona, CBSE canceled the 12th board exam on 1 June. This decision was announced by PM Modi. Regarding this, it was said that it would not be right to pressurize the students to appear in the examination in such difficult times. CBSE took this decision at a time when 32 states and union territories of the country had decided to conduct the 12th examination this year. Now most of the states have decided to postpone their board examinations.
