
New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ released the date sheet of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board examinations starting here on May 4 here.
Due to Corona epidemic, the government had to keep schools closed for about 10 months, due to which the Ministry of Education decided to hold board examinations this year between May 4 and June 11. Practical examinations will however be conducted in March itself. Apart from this, keeping in mind the admission of all students to higher education, it was also decided that the results of board examinations will be announced before July 15.
Class X examinations will start from May 4 and will end on June 7, while the exams for class XII will begin from May 4 and end on June 11. The first examination of the tenth will be in the languages of Odia, Kannada and Lepcha on May 4 and the English Elective and English core examinations of the twelfth will be on this day. The detailed date sheet will be available on the CBSE website and will also be made available to students from schools.
He said that he urged parents, students and all stakeholders to work together to ensure that students have a safe, stress-free and convenient environment for the examinations. If any student feels stressed, he / she can use the toll-free number 844-844-0632 along with the ‘Manodarpan’ portal.
