Education Desk – The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) starts the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2023 registration. Interested candidates can register at bsebstet.com, from today at 4:30 PM. The deadline is August 23 and the exam schedule is yet to be released.
Those who want to apply for secondary-level teaching positions choose paper 1 and those who want to apply for higher secondary-level positions can choose paper 2.

- Visit bsebstet.com and tap on the application link on the homepage.
- Register yourself and fill out the complete form.
- Pay the fees and submit them.
- You can download it for further use.
For general, EWS, OBC, and BC categories – Rs 960 for one paper. Those who want to appear for both papers need to pay 1,440. While SC, ST, and PwD candidates pay Rs 760 for one paper, and for both papers it would be Rs 1,140.
The exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode for a duration of 150 minutes. The exam will have a total of 150 marks out of which 100 marks will be from the subject applied and 50 marks will be for others. The cut-off marks for the general category are 50 percent and 45.5 percent for BC, OBC – 42.5 percent, SC, ST, PwD, and female – 40 percent.
