Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has issued a call for applications for Group A positions. Eligible candidates can apply online at barconlineexam.in, the BARC’s official website. The registration process starts on January 17, 2022, and will conclude on February 11, 2022. Scientific Officer positions will be filled as a result of this recruiting drive.

Candidates’ scores of GATE 2021 or GATE 2022 will be used for this recruitment.
- The application process begins from January 17, 2022.
- The last date for applications is February 11, 2022.
- Exam slots can be reserved online from March 4 through March 18, 2022.
- Exam will be held online from April 7 to April 13, 2022.
- The deadline for candidates to submit their GATE scores is April 13, 2022.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates for the positions must have a B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) / B.E. / 5-year Integrated M.Tech. with a minimum of 60%* aggregate marks in one of the nine engineering fields indicated above.

The candidate’s age must be less than 26 years old for the general category, 29 years old for the OBC category, and 31 years old for the SC/ST category.
What’s the fees for this recruitment?
Male candidates belonging to the General and OBC categories must pay a charge of Rs. 500/-. Dependents of those who died in the 1984 riots (Dep 1984), and persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of Jammu & Kashmir State from January 1, 1980 to December 31, 1989 must also pay a fee of Rs. 500/-. (Dom Kashmir).

Women, SC/ST candidates, transgender candidates, DODPKIA (Dependants of Defence Personnel Killed in Action) candidates, and physically challenged candidates are excluded from paying the application fee.
