
New Delhi: The Army has canceled the examination of the appointment of General Duty Officers going on all over India. Officials said on Sunday that this happened after the news of the paper leak was found. He further informed that at least three people have been arrested in Pune in this case so far.
The officer said that the Indian Army maintains zero tolerance against corrupt practices in the process of appointing a suitable candidate. According to the official, a possible leak case of a question paper prepared for the Common Entrance Test has come to light after a joint operation with the local police of Pune. The case of leakage of the appointment of Generals (General Duty) was revealed last night.
Officials said that where further investigation is going on, it has been decided to cancel the examination to ensure transparency in the appointment process. In connection with the paper leak of army examination, three people have been arrested from Baramati, Pune.
