New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday directed all state boards to notify the scheme for evaluation within 10 days and declare the result of internal assessment by July 31. Justice A. M. Khanwilkar and Dinesh Maheshwari said, we direct all the state boards to ensure that the plans are prepared and notified at the earliest and within 10 days from today and also declare the results of internal assessment by July 31.

In its order, the apex court said, furthermore, the scheme should provide a proper mechanism for redressal of disputes or grievances of students after the declaration of results, as has been done in the case of CBSE and ICSE boards. June 22 The Center had told the Supreme Court that there can be no uniform evaluation policy for all board exams, including those of CBSE, ICSE and state boards.
