AICTE announces new academic session of engineering, technical colleges

Here is a good news for aspirants who have taken admission in engineering colleges and other technical institutions across India.

Buckle up as your new academic session will start from 1 December 2020.

Not yet got admission to your preferred college? No tension as the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has also instructed colleges of engineering and technical fields to extend the admission deadline because of the current coronavirus pandemic.

Since the country is going through a emergency situation, the council has extended the last date of admission to first-year engineering courses (UG and diploma lateral entry) to November 30, said the AICTE in a statement.

Afraid to attend colleges from 1 December due to the pandemic? Well, let’s have an open-minded approach as the AICTE has instructed the colleges to start their lectures in the online, offline or blended mode by following the necessary protocols and guidelines related to COVID-19.
