The perseverance and focus definitely takes us somewhere and Vatsal Nahata, who is a Yale University graduate proved it right with landing his dream job at the World bank after tedious attempts of sending 600 emails and making 80 calls.
Vatsal Nahata in an interview with the media shared his difficult journey and what he learnt from the phase made him more evolved as a person.
Nahata shared his heartwarming story with a long post on LinkedIn, which has received some many reactions and liked by thousands of people.
Vatsal started following his dream job during the peak COVID time in 2020 when lakhs of people were getting fired by startups and big companies due to the unprecedented times.
He was about to graduate and still did not have a job offer that made him think to himself: whats the benefit of coming to Yale when I cant find a job in a reputed oprganisation I wish for” said Mr Nahata.
The undergraduate boy ended up sending over 1000 connection requests on Linkedin to know more about the organisation, wrote 600emails, made more than 80 calls to get there.
The idea behind sharing the whole struggle and experience with the world for Vatsal is to inspire people to work harder on their dreams and not give u. “If anyone is facing something and is stuck where there is no one to guide further and the world seems to be coming to an end on you: please remember to carry o! Brighter days will come ahead of you if you’re strong willed and are not afraid to learn from your own mistakes,” he said while ending the post.
