Online food delivery app company Zomato’s owner Deepinder Goyal has shared that the company is trying its level best by providing the best possible support to help its deceased delivery partner Salil Tripathi’s family. 38 years old Salil was unfortunately killed in a vehicle accident. It is reported that a constable drove his vehicle in a drunken state in Delhi’s Rohini area on 8 January night that led to Salil getting hit by the vehicle.

Sharing on Twitter, Goyal wrote that his company and its employees are deeply saddened by the death of the delivery partner Salil Tripathi in an unfortunate road accident. Goyal shared that his company is giving all the possible help and support to the family to get through the situation. Goyal said that the company Zomato will provide an insurance grant of Rs. 10 lakhs, give a job to Salil’s wife Sucheta Tripathi. Also, the firm’s employees have collected funds worth Rs. 12 lakhs that will be for the future of the family.

He additionally said that the team at Zomato has been assisting Salil’s family personally at the moment and also some staff has been at the hospital since the accident’s night. Goyal said that the organization has also extended its support for the current expenses of funerals and others.
Along with the company’s initiative to support Sucheta with a job, Goyal also mentioned how it is meant to help Salil’s family’s household expenses and his son’s future education.
Meanwhile, Salil’s family has got justice for his death as the Delhi Police shared in a statement last week wherein it was said that the constable has been arrested. It was also reported that Salil was the sole breadwinner of his family after his dad’s demise due to coronavirus disease.
