Vice President Venkaiah Naidu tested positive for Covid-19

On Sunday, India’s Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu tested positive for Covid-19. It’s the second time that Naidu has been infected with the virus.

The news was made over Twitter by the Vice President Secretariat, who stated that the leader had placed himself in isolation.

“Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu, who is now in Hyderabad has suffered from covid-19. He’s set aside a week for self-reflection. Everyone who came into contact with him was advised to isolate themselves and get tested.” The Vice President Secretariat tweeted. 

He does not appear to be planning to attend the Republic Day events on Wednesday.
