Kolkata: Trinamool Congress MLA Tamonash Ghosh has died in the hospital. Tamonash Ghosh was found infected with Corona in May. He was also the chairman of the Bengal State Transport Corporation. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has expressed grief over her death.
Mamta Banerjee tweeted, ‘Very sad. Since 1998, the treasurer of the party and 3-time MLA from Falta, Tamonsh Ghosh, has left us today. Stayed with us for more than 35 years, he was devoted to the people and the party. He contributed a lot through his social work. ‘ Mamta further said, ‘They have reduced the void which will be difficult to fill. Heartfelt condolences to all of us, his wife Jharana, his two daughters, friends and well wishers. ‘
