Hoshangabad: Six people including a doctor and his wife have been found infected with covid-19 in Itarsi area of Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh. The patients are quarantined and the people exposed to them are placed in the home quarantine. Those infected include the doctor’s wife. This information has been given by Dr. Sudhir Jaisani, Chief Medical Officer of Hoshangabad. Earlier this morning, a 62-year-old doctor who died due to Corona virus infection in Indore died.
The number of patients who succumbed to this infection in the city in Indore has increased to 22. Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Praveen Jadia said that 62-year-old General Physician breathed his last while undergoing treatment in a private hospital. He was found to be infected with the Corona virus during the investigation.
