DM sent a recommendation to cancel the license
Meerut: A private pathology lab in Meerut has been grossly negligent in examining corona samples. The lab, in its test, described healthy people as corona positive.
It is learned that a large number of erroneous reports have been made in the investigation of Covid 19 at the Modern Pathology Lab of Meerut city. In the last two days, after examining the samples of this lab, eight people declared them corona positive but when these people were re-examined in the government lab, six people were found negative. DM Meerut is shocked and annoyed by this incident, he has sent a recommendation to the government to revoke the license of this pathology lab which is playing with the lives of people.
Modern Pathology Lab is a company of Gurugram and has two centers at Rani Mill and Baghpat Road in Meerut. In this lab, Rs 3800 was charged for every test. CMO Dr. Rajkumar said that 1253 samples have been tested so far from Modern Lab. Of these, 24 have been reported positive.
A few days ago, a sample of a woman was examined and she came negative, while this lab gave her report positive. On suspicion of forgery, eight samples of the Modern Lab were tested on May 24 in the Medical Biology Micro Biology Lab, while six of these samples were found negative, while in private lab all these samples came positive on 21 May. After this disclosure, testing of 1253 samples conducted in the Modern Pathology Lab has come under suspicion.
