Ayodhya: Pradeep Das Corona, priest of Ram Janmabhoomi has become positive amidst preparations for the Bhoomipujan programme of Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya. Along with this, 16 policemen engaged in protection of Ram Janmabhoomi have also been found to be corona infected. Pradeep Das has been quarantined home after the corona report came back positive.
According to the information received, in the Ram Janmabhoomi, along with the head priest Acharya Satyendra Das, four priests serve Ram Lala. The corona report of one of these priests, Pradeep Das, has come positive.
The Bhoomipujan programme of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is to be held on 5 August next week. PM Narendra Modi is also expected to be involved in this. It is believed that at least 200 people will be involved in the Bhoomi Pujan program. According to reports, even though the programme of Bhoomi Pujan is on the 5th, the festivities will start in Ayodhya from 3rd August. During this time, an atmosphere like Diwali will be created and lakhs of lamps will be burnt in the city by the administration.
