New Delhi: During the last 24 hours in the capital Delhi, 523 new patients of corona virus were reported and 50 patients died during this period.
It is a matter of relief that the number of people recovering was more than the newly infected. During this period, the number of infection-free people stood at 1,161. The positivity rate came down to 0.68 per cent during this period.
With the increase in the number of people recovering in the capital, there has been a decline in active cases. On Friday, active cases in Delhi came down to 688 and 8,060.
According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department of Delhi today, the number of infected people has reached 14,28,449 after 523 new cases have been reported during this period, while the number of corona free people has increased to 13,95,892 due to the recovery of 1,161 more patients. During this, the death toll reached 24,332 due to the death of 50 more patients. The death rate in the capital has come down to just 1.71 per cent. Delhi ranks third in the country in terms of dead.
