Meerut: The graph of corona infection cases in Meerut has increased alarmingly. Today, test reports of six more patients have come positive. According to sources, the graph of corona infection cases in Meerut may increase further.
CMO Dr. Rajkumar said that a total of 17 samples were examined on Monday. In which six new cases have been found. Now the total number of patients of Corona has increased to 19. Two of them are foreigners and the rest of these patients are relatives of a Khurja man who returned from Maharashtra. These people got infected by coming in contact with this person. More samples are being tested right now, in which many positives can be found.
On Sunday, 40 teams from the Health Department reached door-to-door and screened people. The proceedings continued till late night. The microbiology department team also reached out to several locations and took the sample, which was examined on Monday.
Police administration says that the areas where these patients have been are gradually being sealed.
State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is coming to visit Meerut tomorrow.
