18 new cases found again today, an aged lady died from corona
Meerut: The number of cases of corona infection has started increasing rapidly in Meerut. After yesterday’s 17 cases, 18 new cases of COVID 19 have been reported today. At the same time, there is another death due to corona infection today. The 68-year-old lady from Hari Nagar Brahmapuri area, who died yesterday found corona positive.
CMO Rajkumar told that the number of corona patients in the district is continuously increasing. Today, the captain of the army is also found to be Corona positive. He was hospitalized for the last two days. Although he is posted in Delhi, he came to his home on leave.
Dr. Rajkumar says that all these have been quarantined. Soon all these will be admitted to the hospital. He told that all these have been in contact with the corona patients.
In Meerut, the number of corona patients has now been 520, of which active cases are 114 while 371 people have been discharged after treatment. The number of deaths due to corona infection in Meerut has been 34.
