New Delhi: The number of patients infected with the corona virus is steadily increasing in the country. On Thursday, this number has increased to 1,65,356. While 7,228 new cases have been confirmed in a day. According to Covid19india.org, there are currently 89,847 active cases. While 70,788 people are healthy or discharged. At the same time, the death toll has increased to 4,710. 176 people lost their lives in a day. States like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Delhi, Tamil Nadu are the worst affected.

2,598 new cases in Maharashtra
The most affected state of Corona in the country is Maharashtra. 2,598 new cases have been registered in the state in a day. After which the total number of infected has increased to 59,546. The state currently has 38,948 active cases while 18,616 people are healthy or discharged. 85 more people have lost their lives due to this virus, after which the total death toll has increased to 1,982. The maximum number of cases are being reported from the financial capital Mumbai. So far, 34,018 people have been confirmed infected in Mumbai. Of which 1,097 people have died.

1,024 new cases in Delhi
Corona cases are also increasing in the country’s capital Delhi. In the last 24 hours, 1,024 new cases of Corona have been registered and 13 people have died. The total number of Covid infectives has increased to 16,281 of which 8,470 are active cases. So far, 316 people have died due to this virus in the capital.

Number of new infected 827 in Tamil Nadu
The case of corona is also increasing rapidly in Tamil Nadu. The number of new covid infectives has been recorded at 827 on Thursday. After which the total number of infected people has increased to 19,372. Out of which 148 people have died.
