Meerut: Today, a new record of corona patients was made in Meerut, 72 reports were positive in 4156 sample tests done today. The increase in the number of new Corona patients is said to be increasing the number of Covid samples testing.
The total number of corona-infected patients in the city now stands at 1504. Active cases are 485 while discharge cases are 943. Apart from this, two corona victims also died today. The number of people who died of corona in Meerut has now risen to 76.
So far, testing of 56249 samples has been done in Meerut, out of which 50293 reports have come negative, while 4461 samples have been sent for testing and test reports of 4452 samples are waiting to come.
