New Delhi: After an increase in the number of corona infection cases in the country for two days, it again registered a decrease of about 1700 during the last 24 hours and the continuous increase in the number of healthy people continues to decline in active cases.
Daily cases of infection had come down from 20 thousand on Tuesday, but on Wednesday it again increased to 23 thousand and on Thursday it increased to more than 24 thousand. Once again on Friday, new cases remained close to 23 thousand.
According to the data released this morning by the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, 23,068 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of infected to over one crore one lakh. During this period, 24,661 patients got healthy, the number of people who were coronated increased to 97.17 lakh and the recovery rate increased to 95.77 percent. The active cases fell to 2.81 lakh in 1930 and the rate was 2.78 percent. With the death of 336 patients in the same period, the death toll has risen to 1,47,092 and the death rate is still 1.45 per cent.
