Nagpur: Four people were killed after a fire broke out at a COVID-19 hospital in Maharashtra’s Nagpur on Friday night.
Four bodies have been found at the hospital, officials said. The condition of two are critical, they said. The hospital in Nagpur’s Wadi neighbourhood is a 30-bed facility, of which 15 were intensive care unit beds.
Meanwhile, the police has said that about 27 patients have been shifted to another hospital. The police refused to give more information on the health status of these patients. Nagpur is among the most affected cities in Maharashtra most affected by Corona. Apart from Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune and police stations are the worst affected.
Earlier it was reported that there is a shortage of corona vaccine in Nagpur. It is written on a vaccination center – ‘Vaccine stocks are not available’.
