Bhopal: Due to increasing cases of corona infection, there is total lockdown in three major cities of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur today. There is complete silence in the streets and markets, people connected with essential services are allowed to move. The daily number of corona patients in the state has crossed 13 hundred.
Use of masks has been made necessary for prevention of Corona infection, while Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur have been banned from 10 am on Saturday night to 6 am on Monday. Due to this 32-hour shutdown, security forces are deployed on the roads, barricades have been installed in different places. Necessary services continue at an uninterrupted pace, while there is a complete ban on general movement. The markets are completely closed and the streets are deserted.
The state government has decided that permission will have to be obtained from the administration to organize social functions during the lockdown on Sunday in Indore, Bhopal and Jabalpur. Schools and colleges will remain closed till March 31 in all three cities.
