
New Delhi: Lockdown has been extended for 2 weeks in view of Coronavirus’s havoc on behalf of Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarendra Singh. It was announced by the Captain on Wednesday. The captain has given relief to shopkeepers from 7 am to 11 am during the extended curfew. It is mandatory to wear a mask while going out of the house and also to keep social distancing.
Earlier, the Punjab Government Task Force submitted a detailed report in this regard to the “Exit Strategy for Kovid-19 Lock Down Restrictions”.
It has been reported in this report that if there is a lockdown in the state including the country, then the government will have to take many concrete steps to deal with it. Moreover, help will be sought from the central government on the economic crisis.
The 20-member task force was recently formed by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. The report of 46 pages has been divided into 7 parts by the task force. It takes into consideration aspects like socio-economic challenges, the economic situation of Punjab, the main points of recovery from lockdown.
